Roy Scheider was born on 11/10/1932 in Orange, New Jersey. He was an American Actor. He was 76 years old when He died. He was born to Anna and Roy Bernhard Scheider, both of whom were immigrants from Germany. He was of Irish and German descent. He was an athlete from a young age, competing in various baseball and boxing amateur championships. He later traded in his boxing gloves for the stage and studied drama at Rutgers University and Franklin and Marshall College.
After graduating from college, he moved to New York City to pursue his career. He made his debut on the screen with the 1964 film The Curse of the Living Corpse.
